For many years, C2C has been advocating for a city funded Immigrant Resource Center. On Monday, May 9th, representatives from the Immigration Advisory Board presented to the city council Committee of the Whole for the first time on the need for an immigrant resource center in our community . Following that presentation, the council voted 6-0 to move the Immigrant Resource Center forward. In this episode, members of the sub-committee to establish an Immigrant Resource Center talk about the process of getting to this point, and the work that remains to be done.
