The Boys are back after an unexpected week off and boy, oh boy, do they have a lot to catch up on in this week's Trash Pick- Up. After the culmination of the summer Pride month, Mark & Casey are discussing the culminating event as well as their 4th of July celebrations, spent very differently for each.
Then it's on to the Mid-Section and this week, it's a HOT TOPIC and one which most everyone has thoughts, opinions, and strong feelings about -- Cancel Culture. Mark & Casey are delving into what "cancel culture" means and looks like and what events started the movement leading to a discussion about some high profile cancels and the information surrounding their stubbles and/or falls.
Next up The Boys are delving into some off the wall, unbelievable news stories in this week's Trash Talk! Kicking things off -- a new warning from the FDA which feels targeted towards the LGBTQ+ community and The Boys are sharing their reaction. Then a man suffers a rude awakening from an early morning trip to the bathroom. Next in a story coming out of Florida, where a set of parents who donated over $1.5M to the Catholic school their daughters attended/ are attending are suing for their monetary gift from 2017 to be returned because they don't like some planned topics/ lessons to be covered with students. Lastly Meghan McCain is leaving The View after 3 years on air.
In this week's recommendations, Mark is recommending a lesser known emotional film starring a LGBTQ+ icon and ally and Casey is all in for the set up of a new season of long running TV series.
