Welcome to Episode 28 and we've got a hilarious and topical one for you! Mark & Casey are jumping right in this week catching up on their week. After a busy work week, Mark is giving the readers, viewers, listeners, callers and writers some recommendations on what to watch and listen to. Casey is back to enjoying video games and has a game recommendation.
In this week's Mid-Section, Casey and Mark are breaking down some viral videos starring different "Karens" across the United States including California, New York, and Georgia. First up is "Karen" (aka Debra Baber) from Ventura, CA. The Boys are spilling the tea on her speech to the City Council about face masks and her "stirring" rendition of God Bless America. In this week's Trash Talk, The Boys are hitting some hot button topics from the week. Kicking of this week's topics is out of ABC News. A corporate executive has been put on administrative leave for a racist statement made during contract negotiations with ABC News star, Robin Roberts. Then Mark is bringing up the recent deaths of 2 men in California found hanging and have been initially ruled suicides. Next up Casey is bringing yet another lie from the current POTUS, this one about a vaccine for HIV/AIDS has been found. In other POTUS news, attendees for the rally will have to sign a waiver to not sue or hold POTUS accountable for contracting the coronavirus; he also has trouble exiting the stage from West Point graduation, shuffling down the ramp (missed it?? check out the video -- https://www.nytimes.com/video/us/politics/100000007190494/trump-ramp-west-point-speech.html. Next up The Boys are discussing the SCOTUS decisions of LGBTQ jobs protections and DACA program. In both decisions, the current administration was on the wrong side of history, stating they believe employers should be able to fire employees for being LGBTQ under the law and DACA was infamously halted resulting in detainees separated from families. Last up, a Nebraska candidate for Congress believes he cannot sexually harass a woman because he is gay.
