In this week's Mid Section, it's the close of Pride Month and the weekend of what would normally be height of the celebrations, parades, and all. With coronavirus infections surging in much of the United States, standard Pride celebrations have had to be cancelled or postpone to keep people safe for now, but should we still show our Pride? The Boys are answering this question by looking at the start of the Gay Pride Movement and why it's just as important if not more important to be observing Pride Month now. The Boys also have some tips for how you can show your Pride and be a part of the community while staying healthy and safe.
In this week's Trash Talk, Mark & Casey are bringing the topics everyone is talking about right now! Starting with John Bolton's new book, The Room Where It Happened. The book he was paid $10 million dollars to write instead of giving testimony to Congress during the Impeachment Trial of POTUS. TIP: the book has been leaked online. Save your coin and don't give it to Bolton, download it and read it online. Next up, did you see the video of the Vice President of the United Stats falling UP the stairs?? Then it's on to Kelly Anne Conway (aka Skelator) appears to have got some work done AND had time to change her mind on what is and isn't racist behavior. Then, OF COURSE Mark & Casey are going to paint the Omaha rally for the current POTUS re-election campaign. In case you've been living under a rock, the huge crowds expected and touted by campaign leaders, despite social distancing measures, turned out to be less than expected allegedly thanks to Tik-Tok and K-Pop fans. Next up, The Boys are discussing the announced shuttering of another gay conversion therapy group who has been dealing with not just the intense push back on conversion therapy, but also a big announcement from its former leader! Finally, Casey is spilling the tea and catching everyone up on recent events and conversations happening within the Chicago Drag community!
