Description

An effective training plan has many components, but one of the most important is progressive overload.

Put simply: progressive overload is doing work enough work to stimulate an adaptation response from the body.

The most common ways of achieving this are through increasing load, sets, or repetitions. But, that's far from the only way, and we need to be aware of all of the tools we have at our disposal to progress or regress a client's program.

In this episode, Eddie breaks down a dozen other ways to progress a client that doesn't involve increasing the weight, sets or reps.
