This episode is not just for women or couples who are grieving an abortion, but it is also for the church. Often, those who are silently suffering post-abortion are filled with shame, regret, and pain. They don't necessarily want anyone to know about their past for fear of rejection or judgment.
Toni Brubaker is the Executive Director at Heartbeat Hope Medical Pregnancy Center. Toni and her staff provide a confidential post-abortive recovery program that is offered in a group or individual setting. They walk participants through the healing process. Toni has also been the woman in the church pew carrying the guilt and shame of abortion.
