Jesus experienced immense pressure and despair in the Garden of Gethsemane. He knew everything that was going to happen. His apostles - his friends - were not even able to stay awake with him. He must have felt so alone. Just like us, he prayed to God “if it is possible, let this cup pass from me”, but He was able to surrender it to God, “yet, not as I will, but as you will”.
