Our spiritual growth is directly proportional to our growth in humility. It is very easy for God's work in and through us to become OUR work. Spending time in silence with God, maybe praying the Litany of Humility, gives us a renewed perspective that God IS the source of all good things we do. Spending time with God helps us to recognize that our growth in the Spirit must be cultivated, which is our word of the day.
