Listen

Description

Layperson Lisa calls me Docile Deacon Dave Delights Deos. It truly does delight God when we spend time in silence just listening to Him and letting Him fill us with His Wisdom and Knowledge. Cardinal Sarah mentions that God is the Potter and we are the clay and that he can mold us if we do not put up obstacles or refusals. We can even create obstacles and refusals even in the midst of trying to enter into silence with distractions, cell phones, to do lists, etc. We need to settle ourselves down in order to let God form us. Otherwise, our clay will become hard and rigid. We need to allow ourselves to be immersed in our baptismal waters each time we enter into silence with God so he can mold us, mold our conscience. God has often formed my conscience in the silence of time with God to a new level - He has convicted my heart.
