BC Assessment evaluates over 2 million properties within BC and the value that you would have received is based on data from July 1st of this last year. Brian informs us of the types of technologies they use to gather information in order to come up with the numbers, as well as how to appeal the assessment if you feel yours is inaccurate. If you do want to appeal, you must do so by January 31. A good place to start is the BC Assessment website.
