Jennifer’s entrepreneurial spirit, passion to create, confident attitude, and unwavering commitment to family are the backbone of Cuddigan Leather.
After I opened my first bag shop, I began moving slowly towards more traditional leather work methods. At every roadblock I encountered or new challenge I undertook, I reminded myself that thousands of artisans over the course of centuries were able to learn this medium before me. Armed with this knowledge, I knew that with enough patience there is nothing I could not figure out. There is a fearlessness that goes into good design and product development. A fearless attitude is a huge part of my success. I fearlessly trust my own instinct and style. I trust my construction ideas. I trust the time it takes to build this brand. I trust my circle to advise and support me. I fearlessly trust that I will speak my vision. I leave no space for fear in the process. I lean into my gifts and talents and stretch them to the furthest of my ability. I work for more than the success of my business. I work to be a catalyst for hope in a world that needs it.
Cuddigan Leather is named after Jennifer’s late mother, Mary. Mary Cuddigan built in Jennifer a foundation of hope and determination that propels her forward and inspires her to share her strength as a businesswoman as well as her inspiring talents in design and production. She is motivated to live and create without reservation so that her own 6 children are given their own strong foundations of passion and determination.
