Description

Failures are just opportunities to grow. This week on The Allegory and Elm Podcast we are dropping one of our most important episodes yet. Often we can remain stagnant and wonder what we are missing. It seems like we should be happy. We have all the things in our lives that "should" make us happy and content, yet there is still something gnawing at us. A growth mindset is a way of living in which you BELIEVE you have the ability to change and GROW. A fixed mindset is the exact opposite. In a fixed mindset you feel like your cognitive, physical abilities, and skill sets are limited or fixed. Phrases like, "stay in your lane," or "stick to what you know," come from a fixed mindset. People in a fixed mindset often see criticism as critical rather than as constructive and something that they can learn from.  So are we stuck, or do we have the potential to change?  I guess that is entirely up to you!

If you want to go deeper into this topic, there is an amazing book called Mindset by Carol Dweck.  It's only $10 on Amazon and we get a little monetary kickback if you use this link.
