What Is An Unraveling?
An unraveling means to undo twisted, knotted or woven threads. And the threads were woven deep, even since childhood. The threads of redemption, resurrection, the promise of hope, the failure of sin, the shame, the inadequacy, the guilt, and the never being enough. Your Story Matters... and so does Katie's. This week on The Allegory and Elm Podcast, Katie shares her Unraveling Story and her deconstruction from Christian faith.
In reflecting back, this process of deconstruction was over a decade long and was a slow progression away from Jesus and towards Embracing Herself Whole. This ultimately resulted in Katie leaving Christianity. Her spirituality, faith, and hope all remain in tact, however the framework and The Source of spirituality has changed.
