On the Indonesian Island of Java, is it said that there is a historical building so haunted that the Indonesian government has had trouble getting people to come visit. While the building itself, known as Lawang Sewu, has a sordid and dark past, it is not the reason it has become so feared amongst the locals. Lawang Sewu is said to be home to a Pontianak. An entity so terrifying, it's hard to identify as a creature or an evil spirit.
