Willed Wednesday: 3 Tips From a Kid (3/4/20)
On today’s episode, we share three tips from a young boy, Caden Harris. He is the author of a book for children entitled, Caden’s Rich Kid Guide, Tips to Earn 10K Under 10 Years Old. While this book teaches valuable financial lessons, as a coach and consultant, I gleaned some things that adults can take away. In his conclusion, Caden shares several advice tips. There are three that I extrapolated from it that we can use as educators. Make sure you place these in your toolbox:
1. If you are not failing enough, your challenges are too easy for you.
2. A best practice suggestion is to step away from the challenge and give it some space for a few hours or a day. Then return to take it on.
3. Always add value to others and never be the person that takes from other people but don’t give anything back.
