If you have potential that is untapped, this episode will reveal the steps you need to take. It is never too late to reach your potential. Do not give up!!
I am so passionate because of the number of suicides that occur every year. There are over 800,000 worldwide. I have worked with at risk youth for 30 years and I have witnessed first hand the catastrophic effect that mental illness has on families. Kids are being bullied at school and some commit suicide. Our mission is to reduce the suicide rates among young adults through education, awareness and effective techniques for fighting depression and anxiety.
I would love help spreading my vital message of hope.
I have worked in the social services industry for 30 years and have been an advocate of mental health awareness. I have worked with at risk youth and I have a huge heart for the elderly because they are the most vulnerable population in the world. I deeply believes that everyone has the ability to make a difference in the world once they discover their purpose. I have dedicated most of my life to pouring into others and helping them realize their enormous potential. Win Over Depression has a vision to strengthen the minds and hearts and young adults who may contemplate suicide and equip them with the tools to fight for themselves and want to live. Our push is to shine a light on mental illness and the importance of conducting a mental health assessment every single week. Wellness Wednesday is the day to be set aside to check in with your family members and place your finger on the pulse of their current mental health status. We offer one-on-one coaching sessions with youth, an 8 week virtual program on mental health, speakers for schools, businesses, and parents. As a Gallup Certified Coach we teach young adults to leverage their natural strengths to navigate life and the challenges it presents.
