This mediation is a 'Sensation Body Scan'. Designed to build a practice that is a check-in approach to reading the body sense experience of life events. This is a part of the 'Somatic' body work that may be used in some treatments. Rather than name the body parts it permits the meditator to go at their own pace. It becomes easily engrained in the body and mind as a 'check-in' practice. Benefits include: It brings attention back to the body feeling. It cultivates acceptance of what is being felt.
