Episode 36 (Kaden Fulcher)
The boys this week had on Saginaw Spirit Announcer Joey Battaino and man was it a treat! We were able to hear some more store about Connor and Joeys journey into being a sports announcer. From his days calling NAHL games to the OHL where he’s fortunate enough to watch Cole Perfetti, who is one of the top choices for the Red Wings for the first round pick of the 2020 draft.
Joey says his broadcasting career started with luck but I think his skill played into this. He started from the bottom at 18, and with 11 years of experience, we hope to see him working with Ken Daniels calling a Wings game someday soon!
