Episode 40 (Henrik Zetterberg)
The boys this week had on our second guest from the Connecticut Whale of the NWHL Nicole Guagliardo. She played at three different colleges in here collegiate career, Mercyhurst, Lindenwood, and Adrian. Adrian was her last stop and you could say she found her spot here! Former Wing Sauce Alum Kelly O'Sullivan played with Nicole during this time. Nicole's 2019-20 season was cut short due to COVID-19, however this didn't stop her from tearing it up! She lead the team in points with 33 and this led her to be selected for AHCA All-American and the NCHA All-Conference teams. She also tied for the lead in NCAA Division III with six game-winning goals. She is excited about this upcoming season and we cant wait to see her play in that number 13! How fitting she wore 40 at Adrian, some of the two best numbers in Red Wings history. We look forward to watching her tear it up this upcoming season with the Whale.
