The boys had some fun detailing the last four games, where the Wings had been playing much better at a record of 3-1. Well deserved kudos to the new guy, Jakub Vrana, ripping one top shelf in his debut in red and white against the Blackhawks. Also, Troy “two-tucks” Stecher lived up to the nickname by potting two on the Hawks (Not really his nickname but it sounds good).
Saturday’s game against the Hawks was a different tale. Old Troy “two-tucks” didn’t have the greatest showing. Despite having many scoring chances in the first and second period, the Wings ended up with a bagel as Chicago lit the lamp 4 times. This will hopefully be a small speed bump in Detroit’s recent success as they take on a hungry Dallas team FOUR TIMES in a row this week - twice in Dallas to kick off the week, then twice at home to end it. The fellas give their predictions on the series.
Another caller this week with a great question towards the end regarding the expansion draft and who the Red Wings will be protecting. Buckle up, folks! End of the season is coming, and we’re looking forward to seeing the Wings crawl out of that dead last spot in the division.
