This week we hear from Jacob and his version of the purpose of life, building on the sermons already given by Lehi and Nephi on the subject. More of the words of Isaiah (and why Nephi thinks we should be reading them), how the Atonement of Jesus Christ saves us from the two deaths, and why we shouldn't resent having to follow the commandments to be saved as compared with those who have never heard the law.
