Born to Swiss parents, Joseph’s circus accomplishments include aerial thrills, High Wire, Stunts, Skywalk, Sway Poles and the Inclined Motorcycle. Joseph has headlined Cirque du Soleil, Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus, Circus Sarasota, Equitana USA, Piccadilly Circus, to name but a few. He has also been featured on every major network in the United States - making him one of the most sought-after ringmasters in the circus world.
In this episode, we also chat about changes to the circus and how they blend traditional circus elements with contemporary styles in the acts to make them more interactive & immersive - and what challenges & rewards come with this to keep the audience glued. How he sees the role of women evolving in the circus industry and their various contributions from production to wardrobe, favorite memories & performances - and what makes them so special, things that go very wrong with this not-to-be missed show that is suitable for children of ALL ages, and lots more!
