Distractions. Do you live with distractions? Does being distracted keep you from being present? If this is your plight- as it is for most people in first world countries, then you need to check your heart. What do I mean? Well, when a human engages in a behavior, they generally assume that "everyone" engages in that same behavior. What's worse is that they often hold the Lord God to that standard. They assume that because they live distracted then God lives distracted. Sure, in theory they know God is God and that He knows all things so if we intentionally contemplate the Lord know that He is aware of all things. However, our reaction to Him betrays our doubt. Do we really believe that God hears us? That He remembers us or cares about us? Do we really believe that God remembers all of the things He told us and the promises He's made us? This supernatural revelation will show just how much He does remember.
