The brother of Jared comes down from the Mountain and places the 16 stones in the 8 barges. They have light to see. They travel across the many waters being directed by the Lord, literally. They have no way to steer but they arrive to the promised land as the Lord said they would. Jared and his brother begin to be old and they ask their people what they want. They as for a king to be anointed. After discussing it and the brother of Jared advising against it, Jared says lets give the people what they want. We quickly see that it doesn't work as sons rebel against fathers and brothers rebel against brothers. The works of secret combinations are found rampantly throughout the Jaredite nation generation after generation. Prophets are sent throughout the land reminding the people to repent.
