King Noah took inherited what was mostly a righteous kingdom and turned it into a wicked kingdom where people openly rebelled against God. As noted in the scriptures, the people were blinded by Noah's craftiness in speech and example. As coined in this episode by Andrew, they were "Noah Blind".
Abinadi, a great man, was sent by God as a prophet to teach and warn the people of King Noah. King Noah, having been taught by his righteous father, at times wanted to release Abinadi but ultimately did not and sentanced him to death by fire. Abinadi, goes down as one of the bravest men to stand as a witness of Christ, giving his very life in one of the most horrific ways possible. He was burned alive. He truly is an inspiration.
