This week I had the pleasure of talking to Athina Crilley (and her cats, Quiet Jasper and Shouty Jake)
Athina is a podcast host, author, content creator (and all-round very busy!). She is also a recovered anorexic and was kind enough to take some time out of her very busy schedule to talk to us about her recovery journey and her experience in overcoming her eating disorder.
She spoke about life as a young person with anorexia, how the NHS deals (or fails to) deal with children with eating disorders.
We touched on social media, the problem with "influencers" who give us the idea that we have to do what they do so that we can look the way they look.
She also spoke about the importance of a good support network to aid your recovery and what she does now that she is recovered from her eating disorder.

In the news this week I touch on the story I spoke about a few months ago. If you remember David Bennett was given a genetically modified heart 2 months ago and unfortunately this week he passed away.
I received an email about this this week that said something along the lines of "See? This shows it will never work and that GM is a bad idea". That kind of thinking shows a bit of a misunderstanding about how medical procedures, and science, progress so I talk a bit about why this was still a tremendous achievement and is very promising indeed
