America's Funniest Videos have been a mainstay on television for almost 40 years. It's appeal is watching people or animals or situations where something unexpected happens that makes us laugh. There is a German word for that, Schadenfreude, which translated means, "rejoicing in someone's misery." We talk some more about that today.
