Three gifts were brought to Jesus, three gifts that were more than just objects of value - they were prophetic to who He was going to be and what He came to accomplish on earth.
In week two, Pastor Jon takes a deep look into the gift of frankincense. Frankincense is a gift that was traditionally burned as a fragrance and it was used worship in the Holy of Holies. Only the high priest from the tribe of Levi could perform the specific rituals that took place in the presence of God that atoned for the sins of Israel. But Jesus came as the true and better High Priest who actually forgives the sins for all of humanity. Jesus is not from the tribe of Levi but He is from the order of Melchizedek.
