There is one place in Scripture where we are asked to “test God”. When we tithe (give 10%) to our local church, God makes a promise to us to pour out His blessing. This is a covenant that God has made with us since Abraham.
Pastor Jon invited us as a church to do just this, to “test God” by committing to give back in tithe and to see if God doesn’t do what He says He will. We are encouraging the whole church to make a 90 day commitment to do just this. And here’s the cool part, God’s blessings go way beyond monetary. He is the God of peace, wisdom, grace, healing, love, kindness, and so much more. What we may be needing from God, He has in abundance and is ready to bless us! When you give, you are invited to test God - so ask, and pray specifically for what you need as you give. Just a seed goes in the ground and is hopeful to produce a tree, we give our tithes as a seed expecting God to do something miraculous. We are praying and believing for you!!
