In Luke 10, Jesus sends out a group of 72 to go before him and preach the Gospel, heal, and prepare the way for His arrival. As He is sending them He makes a powerful statement, “the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.” We found three truths in this story: 1. Jesus is the Lord of the harvest 2. He is looking for laborers for His harvest 3. The harvest is souls.
