Nick Maccario joins me on today’s podcast. Nick won the 2020 Mass Golf player of the year award after finishing runner-up in the Amateur Invitational, the Mass Amatuer, the New England Amateur, and The Ouimet Invitational in four straight weeks. He capped off that consistent, yet frustrating, run with a victory at The Hornblower. Nick has burst onto the Mass Amateur scene in the last four years, and is earning births into more and more national amateur events. Nick talks with me about his upcoming schedule, long and short term golf goals, playing with the lead, going low (and breaking scoring records), his reintroduction to competitive golf following college, and a lot more.
