When your life plan is surrendered to God’s epic plan, amazing things happen.
During the Christmas season we love to gaze at the lovely images of beautiful singing angels, rugged shepherds, lavish wisemen and a beautiful mother, father and holy child. The picture is very peaceful, beautiful and idyllic. But in order to gain a coveted role in the glorious nativity scene, each one of these characters had to make a sacrifice. When we take a closer look at the Christmas story, we see that the storyline is anything but peaceful and serene. It is full of uncertainty, disappointment, shock and ultimately: surrender.
