Based on the book 'Contact' written by Carl Sagan. The film has a host of stars not least Jodie Foster. The story follows the life and early career of Dr Eleanor Arroway. Ellie leads team that's part of the SETI programme and how finding an alien signal creates all sorts of complications.
This film was picked by a Elly Bangs the author of the new sci-fi novel 'Unity'. I contacted Elly to let her know how much I enjoyed her short story 'Dandelion' which can be found on the 'Clarkesworld' podcast released in September 2018.
We did experience a little interference for a short time towards the end of the podcast but it doesn't last long so sorry for that!
