Based on the memoirs of Wladyslaw Szpilman The Pianist is a harrowing watch. The film recounts the struggles of Wladyslaw as he fights to survive the atrocious conditions inflicted on the Jews community in the Warsaw Ghetto during the ww11 occupation of Poland. Its quite an accurate account of what took place and the lads felt well worth a watch.
