Rouge Palette- to prepare rouge palettes rub up together:

9 parts carmine
50 parts french chalk
12 parts almond oil
tragacanth mucilage

Add enough tragacanth mucilage to make the mass adhere and spread the whole evenly on the porcelain palette.
