Hebrews 12:18-29
Jesus's blood speaks better than the blood of Abel. Abel, being dead, yet speaks. God used to speak to the fathers in various ways, but is now speaking to us through His Son. All of this together leads our author to say we must not refuse the one who is speaking. Andrew and Edwin expound how the point is we must not turn away from Jesus, but hang on to Him until and through the very end.
