Today we continue the series discussing John Wooden's "Pyramid of Success" and a variety of quotes in support of it.We have finished all the blocks of the Pyramid, so we are now into what Wooden called the Mortar that holds the blocks together. The first mortar element we will discuss is Ambition.
Wooden stressed the concept that if we are going to be truly ambitious, we must be focused on others. Those who focus only on themselves are selfish and are not acting within the concept and the spirit of the Pyramid of Success. The more ambitious we are about helping lift others up, the better chance that we will have the success we seek, too.
