When it comes to being truly healthy, as you know, it's important to take a whole-person approach. This is the approach Cody uses in her practice to help bring health and hormonal healing to her clients. It's important to go further than just diet alone, so today Jess and Cody are doing another episode focusing on two more, out of eight, main pillars of holistic health. Today they are sharing the pillars Stress Less and Love More. 

Stress is a wellness threat that wears many hats. It sabotages our healthy eating habits by contributing to inflammation, increasing appetite, and causing sugar cravings, and saps energy we could be using to build muscle at the gym. Plus, ever met a super-stressed person who was maintaining strong-relationships? Stress is a normal part of modern life, but managing it allows us to live this modern life while maintaining our physical, mental, and emotional health. In other words, we will be happier, healthier people.

We know that a healthy sex-life and romantic relationships help us feel happy and fulfilled, but that's not all that our pillar of health that we call Love More is about. Romance and sex are definitely part of it, but there are so many other ways to express love, that still help to reduce stress and boost our feel-good hormones. Expressing and spreading love, in many ways, among friends, family, acquaintances and community, can contribute to a healthier and happier existence. Jess and Cody are encouraging our community to focus on living a more heart-centered life with even more intention. Let's see how doing so will not only improve our own health, by balancing our hormones, but how it also can literally change the world.
