As Israel was preparing to cross into the promised land, two of its tribes made a strange request to Moses; they wanted to settle down outside the promised land. Moses is greatly concerned with the discouraging effect this would have on the other tribes. In what ways might our apathy and dedication to comfort provide a spirit of discouragement to our church family?
