The kilted Duke of Warnick is in town in “A Scot in the Dark by Sarah MacLean!
Warnick was the 17th in line when he inherited a dukedom. It was five years later when he found out he had an adult ward. If he didn’t brush off his solicitor, pretending not to care about the title, then he would have known earlier.
His ward, Lillian, made the scandal sheets after a faux reveal of a nude portrait by someone she loved. After the narcissist’s stunt, his shaming of her did get him punched a lot.
