Description

The dove got away, but returned a sparrow in “The Day of the Duchess” by Sarah MacLean!

We read about Haven in the first book of the series.  He was pushed into a fishpond and we found out the internal reason that led to him getting wet in this book.

Seraphina flew into Parliament looking for a divorce, to be free, and so begins Haven’s groveling.

The Talbot sisters were in full force supporting Sera with comfort and truth during Haven’s task to find a replacement.  One of the sisters even found a man-friend who’s playing hard to get.

This book had triggers that made us wonder how will love conquer their issues.  Through communication after years of separation, Sera and Haven understood why each wanted what they wanted.  The duchess was given her wish, but the duke was given his desire soon after.  Join the ladies as they discuss the freedom of the sparrow!
