In this episode, we explore the connections between art, education, and housing systems. Our guest is Supreme Dow calls for a cultural revolution. Supreme Divine-Dow is the founder, curator and executive director of the Black Writers Museum, and has served in this capacity as a full time volunteer for over a decade. Supreme Dow is running for PA State Representative for the 198th district in our upcoming June 2 elections. Supreme Dow has over 30 years serving communities in Philadelphia in the nonprofit, education and arts & culture sectors. Over his career, Dow has received numerous community service and literary awards including the Changing Lives, Impacting His Community from Poet-Ify, 2017; Outstanding Service and Dedication from the Unity Community Center of South Jersey, 2014; Community Advocacy and Service, Celebration of Black Writing, Art Sanctuary; Outstanding Citizenship from the NAACP, 2007; Ronald T. Ramashala Memorial Award, Lincoln University, 1998.
