Is it now or never or could it just be round two for Fyfe?  Lots of Freo fires breaking everywhere so it’s time to Restump Podcast the latest particulars at the port on the eve of round one.

Whether the captain plays round one or not, his position looks settled in the midfield. It's where he wants to be and where he does his best work. At $18 could he immortalise with a 3rd Charlie?

We got through preseason pretty well in relation to injuries so a hamstring for Matty Tabs days before round one isn’t ideal. Can Josh Treacy and Rory Lobb stone the Crows?

Tucker and Erasmus never got a look in, in either of the preseason games against West Coast but their names are in the round one conversations.

Brandon Walker might be the unluckiest guy going around. He hasn’t put a foot wrong, he’s training the house down, banging the door down but he might have a tough time breaking into the deep backline.

Jojo McDonnell takes us through his preferred twenty two for round one, his possibilities and notable omissions.

Connor Blakely has apparently started a lawn mowing business and consequently he has literally and metaphorically entered a turf war with Aaron Sandilands. Is Connor getting a bit edgy about his future? Is he hedging his bets? Is mowing lawns the only way he’s going to get out on the paddock this year?

We’re thrilled Tobe Watson and Stefan Giro might get another opportunity, but we’re worried the West Coast Eagle culture might get its hooks into our former Freo friends. Thankfully Hamish Brayshaw got out in time as he looks to join brother Andy at Freo as a Covid top up player.

Jojo replies to some criticism of Liam Henry and then we bring it home with a continuation of the Jack Darling themed Neighbourhood Watch segment.

You know the drill by now. If you have nothing else to do and you’ve set your podcast content listening bar exceptionally low, then this is the podcast for you.... if you’ve exhausted all other possibilities.

The season is about to kick off..... we can't wait!
