I talk about the difference between organizing and clutter clearing. There is an overlap for sure but it's not the same, there are differences that are important and substantial.
Organizing is more like a band-aid, a short term fix that has some value and can give you some peace but you're most likely doing all that hard work of organizing over and over just to find yourself back in the same situation a few short weeks later.
Clearing clutter on the other hand goes deep to the root cause of the issue and creates long lasting change and transformation. Organizing is mostly mental while clearing clutter can get emotional and your mind will try to fool you and give you all kinds of excuses why you can't make decisions and this is where the benefits of professional help come in.
