This week's theme for the podcast is: Relationship Struggles
Relationships can be super tough, but it's important to remember that in the end, it's totally worth it because the hard stuff is what creates a stronger & deeper bond with your partner.
I want to talk about some of the hard things that come with being in relationships & how to get through those things & have amazing bonds.

Here are some notes from today's episode:
- To close out the week, I thought it would be nice to end on some fun, friendly & helpful reminders to have while in a relationship.
- Remember to tell them how you feel on the regular. Whether you are in love or not, make sure you are taking a moment to tell your partner how you feel about them.
- Don’t try to always win. Don’t be so passionate that you have to win every fight. Let things go instead of nit picking & making something out of nothing. Instead of saying ‘sorry’ ask for forgiveness. It’s more sincere. And keep your pride & ego in check. Relationships are 2 way streets & everyone is a contributor.
- Keep communication flowing. Don’t assume things, it causes trouble. When in doubt, talk it out. Also, don’t spread personal biz that should stay within the relationship out to the world. There is a difference between telling a close someone something in confidence & blasting on social media.
- Establish personal boundaries. Remember at all costs that everyone is in charge of their own feelings, emotions, habits, actions, decisions,everything. This includes not blaming your partner for how you are feeling. You make that choice. Do not try to change someone into something else. Don’t take responsibility for someone else’s emotions. Say no when you want to & enforce your own boundaries when it’s necessary.
- Manage your expectations for your partner. Just don’t have expectations of them, unless you both have agreed upon it & it’s reasonable.
- Put time into your relationship. There is a healthy balance of too much time with your partner & not enough. Make sure you are spending time together, letting them know how important they are to you, continue to get to know them as an individual & being aware of the other’s needs.
- Know when you might need help. Let’s say you have been in a relationship for a bit & your partner & you have some issues & disagreements to work out but are unable to do it on your own. Know when to seek help from a professional or someone you BOTH really trust as a mediator or counselor. Don’t let pride get in your way & prevent you from fixing something that truly means something to you.
