This week we are going to speak about how important kindness is to our everyday lives, how we can show kindness to ourselves & others and some easy ways to be more courteous & considerate to others!
Join me in learning more about the importance of kindness & how to be more kind!
Here are some notes from today's episode:
- And naturally we are going to end the week with another list of things I suggest that you do to make your inner world & the entire world a better place.
- I want you to go into this weekend with some ideas on how to show kindness to others. This list is a mix of how to show kindness to strangers/people you don’t know & people you do know, no matter how little or a lot.
- First one is random, but super kind to a small business owner. Leave a review for a product you bought online.
- Give praise & compliments to customer service workers. Write a letter to a store manager with good customer service.
- Give compliments to anyone, but make it meaningful.
- Write a thank you/thankful note to someone. Tell someone how much you appreciate them & what they mean to you.
- Give an anonymous gift
- Smile at strangers on the street.
- Find a way to volunteer.
- Babysit for someone for free.
- Leave a generous tip.
- Donate to a good cause.
- Do a favor without asking for anything in return.
- Give your undivided attention. Put your phone away & really listen to someone.
- Bring dinner to someone in need.
- Allow someone to cut you in line.
- Find random ways to celebrate someone you know.
- Find a PenPal program.
