On May 25, 2020, police officer Derek Chauvin placed his knee on the neck George Floyd for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. According to the criminal complaint, Chauvin kept his knee on Floyd's neck for 2 minutes and 53 seconds after Floyd was deemed non-responsive. Floyd is just one of countless unarmed Black men and women who have been the victims of police brutality. Today's episode is in honor of Floyd, as well as Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.
