On this episode, J.Mix is joined by Santa and Mrs. Claus aka. Jon Sparks and his beautiful wife, Maritza Dávila. Their love has transcended for over 40 years and they graciously join TSAM's community to give their wisdom on the many facets of what their marriage has taught them about themselves and the world around them. This episode is a continuation of the ongoing challenges of being in an interracial relationship during the black lives matter movement and throughout history. As you will hear in this episode, Jon and Maritza are still learning about each other all the while allowing enough space to expand their creative roots as independent artists. On this episode, J.Mix also gives shout-outs to the local NOLA organizations that she has been supporting during the movement. And she updates listeners on the fortunate developments of her conversation with her white male friend from the previous episode.
