One of the best football strikers Singapore has ever produced - Indra Sahdan, joins me for a conversation in this episode.
The master marksman shares intimate details of his illustrious career which spanned 20 years. It all began with the Lion City Cup triumph in 1995, making his professional debut with Police FC in the very first season of the S-League, capturing successive Young Player of the Year awards, winning the S-League title & 3 Singapore Cups with Home Utd, being the first Singaporean to score 100 domestic goals and of course being on the exclusive FIFA Century Club, having represented Singapore 113 times.
Indra, who scored against the likes of Man Utd, Uruguay and Japan, also shares his thoughts and memories, donning the Singapore jersey, winning the Suzuki Cup twice and the experience of captaining the National Team.
Indra also clears the air once and for all on why he did not continue his stay during his Vietnam Trials!
You do not want to miss Indra reflecting on some funny moments in training, why Singapore will never produce another 100 plus goals striker and the quick fire answers to some personal football questions.
Enjoy!
