I speak to Mr Gurmit Singh aka Phua Chu Kang in Episode 43!
Gurmit is a bona fide entertainer - period. We spoke about everything Gurmit - his childhood, going to school with only 40 cents in his pocket, taking part in every possible CCA in school, his very first audition and gig on TV and his rise to stardom.
Gurmit also revealed little known facts like how he suffered from fits, why fillet-O-fish has a special place in his heart, how he “cheated”, speaking Mandarin in a Channel 8 role and how he was clinically dead for 30 secs not so long ago!
